After a year of decluttering, I’ve been very conscious about things I have been purchasing or keeping in my life. My motto for everything these days is less is more!

Let’s start with the most practical person in your circle. She or he is probably well-organized and efficient. They are also consistent in their daily habits and make wise investments.

In short, they’re no-nonsense driven people and they’d probably love anything that can improve their quality of life!

Reusable mask

Another highlight about this vacuum? You can set a daily timer so you’ll never forget to get it to run! We have it start at 10 AM every day so our floor feels fresh and spotless all the time!

A label maker

I don’t have one yet BUT this is definitely on my to-purchase list. Husband, if you’re reading this, you know what to do!

I’m obsessed with organizing. I guess you can say quarantine made me do it! Jokes aside, organizing is so therapeutic and works wonders for my anxiety issues.

To be honest, I prefer a digital book subscription over my Kindle because the Kindle is an extra device to carry around. With a digital book subscription such as Scribd, I can easily access it on the go on my mobile phone.

A cloud subscription

My family gifted me a cloud subscription last year – I guess they know me pretty darn well because it’s still one of the best gifts I’ve ever received.

As someone who takes lots of photos, I feel like my phone and computer never have enough storage! My photos are my prized possessions; knowing that my photos are backed up online makes me feel secure whenever I have to switch gadgets.

Airpods

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m hopeless with tidying cables, wires, and the like. When Apple first introduced the Airpods, I was immediately sold. I’ve used mine for three years now and they still sound amazing! I’m never going back to wired earphones.

Self-care minimalist Christmas gifts

There’s a lot of talk about self-care but it is important to take care of yourself physically, emotionally, and mentally. Here are some things that will put a smile on your minimalist friend’s face!

Fruit and cheese charcuterie board

I received this as a gift for my birthday earlier this month and I loved it. You can’t go wrong with a fruit and cheese platter – it’s delicious and thoughtful! Food is the way to go if you can’t decide what to give.

Bath bombs

Forget colorful bubbles, Ouai’s chill pill is pure indulgence for adults only! According to reviews, these rose and jasmine-scented bath bombs don’t fizz as much as the typical bath bomb; but, they smell heavenly and leave your skin feeling soft and smooth after. If no one gives these to me, I’m buying them myself!

People often think the higher the thread count the better, but this is so far from the truth! Invest in natural fabrics instead such as bamboo and linen as they are soft, durable, and breathable.

I love giving my loved ones experiences because they’re unique and memorable. Experiences are a great reminder that memories are more precious than material things.

Giving an experience is such a thoughtful gift because you can personalize it according to your friend’s interests and your budget. Some of my favorite experiences include spending the day at the beach, going for an intimate picnic, and playing with dogs.

Finally, there is nothing more sincere and beautiful than spending quality time with family during the holidays. I say this with conviction because I would give anything and everything to celebrate Christmas with my late mother.

Material gifts are nice, but that’s not what the holiday season is about. The true spirit of the holidays lies in surrounding yourself with your loved ones and opening your hearts to love.
